How to be free – Part One Financial Freedom
I like my freedom. In fact, I would even say it is my most important value. I agree with Christopher Morley said: “There is only one success – to be able to spend your life in your way.” This for me is freedom.
I also believe that America is a country that allows you to be free. It is, indeed, America was founded on the principles of freedom. But too many people here think they are free. And I think a lot of target locations to be released. It seems that the government will make free or your spouse to make free or open society will they or their parents to set free or his church will set you free. Here’s the deal, people – one person can free you – and that person is you.
Let’s talk about how.
We must first determine how you feel that you are free. I will list things that can affect your freedom:
1. ) You can feel that they are not free because someone stops you from doing what you want (spouse, parents, law, etc.)
2. ) You may feel that they are not free because they have the money to do what you want or you have lots of debts or other financial obligations that you can not do what you want.
3. ) You may feel that they are not free because of their race or gender or age or height or weight or any other millions of opportunities on the basis of their appearance or background
4. ) You can feel that they are not free because of drug
5. ) You can feel they are not free because of health problems
6. ) You can feel that they are not free because they must work in a job you hate
7. ) You can feel they are not free because you can not find a job
8. ) You can feel that they are not free because _____________________ (insert your own reason here)
I’m about to call BS on you give me any reason. I’m sure if you read this article is not in prison. And even if you are, you can always use some of these tips to be more free! But if they are behind bars or in the basement of a madman, and you live in the United States of America – you are free. To think otherwise is simply imprison you.
Which brings us to the first track:
1. ) We must believe they are free. Do you know that many immigrants to the United States do better than people who are born here? The immigrants believe that the U.S. is a land of opportunity. They come here with nothing, just wants the opportunity to build something – and the work outside of their ends. Too many people who are born here are not free to decide that someone or something to delete. You know what? If you think – will live. You are as free as you think it is.
This does not only occur in the field of work. What about people who stay in abusive relationships believe they have no other choice. So they believe they are trapped, they are.
Do you think they are free? Ask yourself some questions: Can you leave home and go in the street? Can I apply for a job? Can you make a phone call to a friend?
A big problem now is how many criminals have cell phones in prison. If you have cell phones, I find it hard to believe that you can not do at least one of the foregoing. And if you can not any of the foregoing, it is free. You may have other problems, but you’re free.
If you think you can not be free, no need for you to learn more.
2. ) To be truly free (so you can spend your life your way), you must have a number of things. Let’s start with a source of income. You must be able to provide first for yourself and, finally, enough money for you to do what he wants. To be free, you have to stay with the finances in order. You must first get out of debt if you’re there. They are not free if you owe money to another person. Sorry, gang, is what it is.
Now before you think you do not know what I mean, I am debt free. “Yes, I confess my own house, I can pay my credit cards every month, my car is paid. I owe nothing to anyone. How to do that?
a. ) Finding a job. I know, right now unemployment is very high. But I know people who are sitting at home without a penny to expect a job as the loser is open. It is not about lifestyles of the rich and famous! Any job is better than no job! Sell all your stuffed toys on Ebay! Do something! The money must come in.
b. ) Live within your means. When, I started my own business for ten years, I lived in a small apartment. No restaurant. I bought only necessities. I was surprised to see how I could live cheaply. The cable is not a necessity, people! If you spend more money than you do, you’ll never be free.
C. ) Increase your value. What can you do to be more useful? Read a book? Take a course at a community college? Work on your appearance? Renew your attitude? Meet more people?
d. ) Get financial skills. I am surprised by the people who do not understand basic financial principles. They do not realize that just make the minimum payment of $ 15 $ 6,000 balance on your credit card interest of 21% to pay ever. These people seem to think that they have the controls that have money. You must understand the basics of their finances – as soon as possible. Parents – Educate your children.
e. ) Your first priority should be in credit card debt. The rates of pay crazy interest will kill you. Do you think I can do? Back to the top of a number.
f. ) Do not make stupid decisions expensive. If you can not meet his needs, and not having children. I know, seems obvious. People rationalize this insanity by saying things like: “Well, there is no perfect time! Yes there is – if you have a job that can pay for food and diapers! Do not buy a new car if you do not have the money – the old drive, or take the bus. There is no public transport? Do you have neighbors? Friends? The supply of chips in the gas. Stop spending money that you did not!
g. ) Do not make a lot of stupid decisions cheap. Spend an extra $ 27. 40 a day and spent $ 10,000 per year. $ 10,000! Do you really need to stop at Starbucks? Can you bring lunch? Did you this pair of shoes for a cure?
h. ) Do you less. I love my house soon. My car is a 2005 with 175.000 miles on it – is also a 350Z and I like red too. I do not need a big house on a lot bigger. Recipients do not need a new car, although most people are horrified when they hear the mileage. I would never buy a pair of shoes or a bag that costs more than $ 300. I do not need all that. If you want less, need less money and is much closer to freedom.
